Dewey’s Readathon: Stacking Up

On my TBR pile for the big day are (in no particular order):

  • The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood (I know, shame on me, I haven’t read it yet)
  • The Pioneer Woman by Ree Drummond (she’s my guilty pleasure favorite chef)
  • The Start of Me and You (#prettycoversaremykryptonite)
  • In Real Life by Cory Doctorow and Jen Wang(#graphicnovels are a must to break up antsy reading feelings!)
  • Little Fish by Ramsey Beyer (#graphicnovel)
  • iZombie Dead to the World by Chris Roberson & Michael Allred (In LOVE with this show/ #graphicnovel)
  • Zac & Mia by A.J. Betts (#prettycoversaremykryptonite)
  • Like No Other by Una LaMarche (I’ve had my eye on this one forever)
  • All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven (see above)
  • Bittersweet by Miranda Bevery-Whittemore (currently reading/ #ebook)
  • The Wrong Side of Right by Jenn Marie Thorne (currently reading)
  • ’89 Walls by Katie Pierson (#ebook #arc)
  • Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland (#ebook #arc)
  • The Secret History by Donna Tartt (another shame on me for not reading yet)
  • How to Start a Fire by Lisa Lutz (#ebook #arc LOVE Lisa and the Spellman files, SO excited for this one)
  • The Interrupted Tale by Maryrose Wood ( #audiobook for in the car and walking!)
  • The Hundred Year House (another #audiobook that I’ve already read, but we’re doing it for bookclub and it’s a faaaavorite, so YES PLEASE)
  • The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman ( #readathon #readalong!)

Now there’s no way I’ll actually finish all of these books. Maybe some won’t even get started. But I know the key to success is variety, in case one book gets boring I can move on to the next. The only thing that’s currently missing is a magical/fantasy book, so I’m going to be on the lookout for something to add, just in case I’m feeling fantastical and need some spell casting mixed in.
